USS Lex Repeater Down For The Foreseeable Future

From Wayne K5NCW: I had to shutdown the Lexington repeater this afternoon. The staff at the USS Lexington will be performing major maintenance on the ships mast and yardarms, requiring sandblasting of all exposed surfaces. All surveillance cameras, cables, and antennas may need to be removed, this includes our repeater feedline and antenna. This work begins tomorrow, Tuesday March 31st per USS Lexington maintenance personnel.
This project may last weeks to months, damage our equipment may incur is uncertain, as the work will be done by individuals not experienced in two-way radio.
