  4. Instructions for the W5DCH IRLP/Echolink node:

An abbreviated guide for use of Clara’s IRLP/Echolink node:

1. Announce ID: "Your Callsign" accessing node
2. Key mic and slowly enter the 4 digit IRLP node number you wish to call. Precede

STEP 2. for ECHOlink --(6 digit Echolink node numbers with a * (star))

3. Node connected announced
4. Pause to listen for traffic at remote location.
5. Began your Call/QSO (Remember to key mic and pause 3 seconds before you begin to speak.)
6. To finish call, announce: "Your Callsign" dropping link.
7. Key mic and enter 73
8. Node disconnect announced.

Please observe all breaks for emergency traffic!!

When you have completed your contact please don’t forget to Drop the link by slowly entering 7 3. You should hear the disconnect message if not Please try a local radio check or contact to make sure you’re “Back in Kansas!”
