Museum Ships Special Event

sponsored by the USS Cassin Young Radio Club

From July 19th 0001Z through 2359Z July 20st more than 80 museum ships will be on the air making contacts for this special event.  All of these museum ships are open to the public so that all may experience what it was like to live and work on a ship.

We have the privilege to have the USS Lexington right in our own back yard for this event.  If you would like to help operate the radio at the Lexington, please contact Larry, N5XCI.  We hope to have 2 HF radios on the air for a portion of the event.

More info about the event can be found at http://www.qsl.net/ww2dd/event.html .
