The attendance was a little low (probably due to the in climate weather), but everyone there was very talkative. As usual, punch, cookies, coffee, tea, and soft drinks from the hamfest were available for those attending.

The was no formal program tonight.

KC8YSR, Michael, brought information about our scoring in the 2009 Field Day event. This information has been published in QST. STARC, using call signs N5CCW and KY5V scored over 2600 points during the event as a 3A station. We scored 3rd in the South Texas section in the 3A category.

We also voted for the STARC Amateur of the Year award. If you were not able to attend the meeting, you still have the option of voting by Email for 1 week. Voting ends Friday, November 27, at 8am. Information is available on the main web page.

We discussed the upcoming events in the area. These include Skywarn Recognition Day, and the STARC Holiday Party. More information on these can be found on the Calendar.

We also presented K5CNZ - Jab with the Grand Prize from the Hamfest drawing.
