Skywarn Recognition Day
Nov. 30 6pm to Dec. 1 6pm

Thanks to those that came out and participated.

During the 24 hour event (ok, we weren't there the whole time, but almost), we made contact with 132 different stations.  We had a number of duplicate contacts, but who cares.  It is always fun talking to new people.  But now for the scoring.

We contacted 37 National Weather Service offices.  We received 5 bonus points for making a contact with an NWS office on IRLP.  That brings our cumulative score to 42!!!

This means we should earn the "Nor'easter" certificate, I think. I don't have the list in front of me.

This is the same certificate that we earned last year.

More information about the event results will be posted at http://hamradio.noaa.gov
