It was a warn night in Corpus Christi, but it did not stop anyone from having a good time at the Christmas dinner. We had a total of 44 people in attendance!!!.

Mike, KD5WZV, gave a recap of the year. He also thanked all the club members and the STARC board for all their hard work and support during the year. A special thank you went to Steve, W2MY, club vice-president, for his work during the year with Mike traveling so much.

We recognized the NEW hams from the morning testing session and also those that upgraded. There were many recognized for their effort in recruiting and training new hams in the area.

2008 should be a good year for Amateur Radio in the Coastal Bend Area.
