Family BBQ

3rd Annual Family STARC BBQ

Date: May 20th, 2006
Time: 3pm (we will probably eat about 5pm)
Location: West Guth Park MAP

We had a great turnout for the 3rd Annual Family BBQ. All hams in the coastal bend were invited to this special event. From the pictures, you can see that we had a good group attend. My head count was about 40 at one point, but I think a few people may have already come and gone.

It was great to sit and visit with old friends, but we also made some new friends that are getting back into the hobby.

BBQ items on the menu included brisket, chicken, sausage, ribs, and fajitas. Side dishes included: beans, potato salad, mac & cheese, garden salad, Spanish rice, deserts, chips, soft drinks, etc....

I think everyone liked the location and stated that we should make plans to have it at the same place next year. Maybe schedule it a little later so that the pool would be open for everyone to enjoy.
