April 2006 Tailgate Hams from across the Coastal Bend gathered Saturday, April 1st to participate in a ritual wide spread within the ham community. This is the event called a tailgate. Amateur radio operators bring radio equipment and related items to buy, sell, trade, and give away to other hams. About 40 people came out and joined the fun. They might have found just what you are looking for to make their shack a better place. They might be able to get rid of some of their items that they no longer needed. As they say, "One man's junk is another man's treasure." Thanks to EVERYONE that came out and participated.
