Skywarn Recognition Day
December 2nd, 6pm - December 3rd, 6pm
NWS Forecast Office, Corpus Christi, Tx

Thanks to everyone that came out Friday night and Sunday to help setup, operate, and tear down.

And a special thanks goes out to the NWS crew for putting up with us for the event and even providing hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings. Yum.  We even took time out to take a group picture.

We had great weather this year to share with people on the air for our exchange.  We contacted many stations where it was either snowing or they were having an ice storm event.  You could hear the envy in their voice when we told them the temp in sunny Corpus Christi.

The band conditions could have been better, but I guess we will have to wait and see how we faired as compared to the other NWS stations participating in the event.  We contacted a total of 43 NWS offices, 37 states/provinces during 106 QSOs.  More detailed stats can be found at the bottom of the web page.
