2005 STARC Christmas Dinner Thanks to all that came out to the dinner. We had a total of 40 people attend. I hope that everyone got enough to eat and had an enjoyable time. Since Joe Guerra, KD5CZM, our 2004 Amateur of the Year, was relinquishing the roving plaque, we present a replacement for him to hang on the shack wall. Joe's son Joseph was the winner of the door prize, a set of binoculars with a built-in digital camera. Many thanks to Mark, AD5CA, for donating the door prize. The highlight of the event was the presentation of the STARC Amateur of the Year award. Congratulations go to Mike Stringer, KD5WZV, this years recipient. All Hams in the Coastal Bend are invited to attend. It is a Chinese buffet and you can pick and choose what you like. Everyone pays for their own meal. We also present the Coastal Bend Ham of the Year Award. You don't want to miss that!! Contact
